Bittensor Atlas

Bittensor is a decentralized network built on its own Substrate blockchain where independent subnets — each identified by a numeric netuid — run their own incentive economy for one specific kind of digital work. Inside every subnet, miners produce that work (an inference, a dataset, a trading signal, a proof) and validators score it; Yuma Consensus turns those scores into a weekly issuance of TAO (τ), split between the subnet's own alpha token and its participants. This atlas documents all 129 registered slots — netuid 0 through 128 — what each one actually does, how its scoring mechanism works, and who builds it.

netuid — a subnet's permanent on-chain ID number α — each subnet's own tradeable token under Dynamic TAO deregistration — the lowest-value subnet slot gets pruned and reissued when the cap is reached
